Introduction to Qi Gong
Many of you have seen Brent and Roni practicing Qi Gong before or after class at SoulShine. Now’s your chance to learn more.
This one-hour class will introduce the basic warmup exercises of a Qi Gong practice. Qi Gong is a healing modality that uses breath, focus and movement to move energy throughout the body. In fact, there are hospitals in China where the only medicine used is Qi Gong exercises.
They will cover the warmups, and depending on time, will teach a simple form including some coiling and spinal movements. The class will focus on proper alignment, breathing, and focus. All the movements will be explained, demonstrated, and practiced.
